Steel City Trophy 2024

Basingstoke synchronised skating teams achieved great success in Sheffield at the beginning of this month. Ice age and Snowdrops both attended the Steel City Trophy international competition which attracts teams from across Europe, Canada & New Zealand as well as all over the UK. Both teams finished their 2023/2024 competitive season with massive personal bests, Snowdrops finishing 4th in the Juvenile section and Ice Age in the adult category finishing a very respectable 6th of 15.

The teams who currently train at the Planet Ice arena Basingstoke which is over 30 years old face extra challenges with the future of the ice rink uncertain.

The squads skaters range from age 6 - 73 and are coached by Fiona Harris and Nadia Smith assisted by Imogen Mogg.
